Not as difficult as expected…

So I’ve been using the magic of the intertubes to learn how to knit.  It’s a much better idea than trying to learn from books.  The Knit Witch’s videos are pretty awesome.  I haven’t actually succeeded in making anything yet.  I’ve just been practicing the long-tail cast on and the first row of rib stitch.  I’m hoping that after practicing the stitches more this weekend, I’ll be ready to start the fingerless mittens I’m making for a friend for Christmas.
